2000nm-Band ASE Broadband Light Source Operation Demo
This is a desktop 2000nm band ASE broadband light source. The wavelength range is 1850nm ~ 2000nm. It supports a wide range of voltages from 100 ~ 240V. The output power is about 10mW and is not adjustable, but other output powers can be customized. We need to use infrared photosensitive film to observe the light spot of the laser in this band.
The 2000nm band ASE broadband light source is based on thulium fiber laser technology, with high output power and a spectrum covering 1850~2000nm, suitable for laser biology, spectral measurement and other applications.
The test sheet of this ASE broadband light source.
ASE broadband light sources are based on the principle of spontaneous emission amplification, using doped optical fibers as gain media and excited by high-performance pump lasers to generate broadband light output. In the 2000nm band, ASE broadband light sources usually use short-wavelength lasers to pump thulium-doped optical fibers to achieve high-power output of single-mode optical fibers. This type of light source has a wide spectral coverage range, generally from 1850nm to 2000nm, which can meet the needs of a variety of mid-infrared applications.
